Established in October of 2000, Japanese Anime People of Chicago (JAPC) was a non-profit, independent, privately owned and operated Anime and Manga club for connecting fans in the Chicagoland area. As fans of anime, manga, Asian Dramas, Asian Music, video games, and much more we met in a friendly casual atmosphere.
Members of this club met in a casual, informal settings: members’ apartments/homes, restaurants, movies, festivals, conventions, and wherever the fandom took us.
As of October 2015, the club transitioned to serve as a event calendar for local anime, manga, and Japanese Cultural events.
