SoyCon organizer Arthur Garcia has announced SoyCon 7: The School Edition.
The event was announced via the SoyCon Facebook Page on 8/22/2013.
The Facebook Event reads as follows:
The largest cosplay gathering of the midwest returns with more moments, more memories, and more fun! This year’s theme is “School”. That means to bring out your school costumes & school outfits and attend our class known as SoyCon!
Times and Dates are still to be announced (DATES LISTED IS NOT THE FINAL WEEKEND DATE.) As for the location, we will be back at Ned Brown’s Meadow in Rolling Meadows, IL. (Same exact location as we had from our previous years.)
So what events we will be having this year? We will be having an Otaku Spelling Bee and Show & Tell Presentation. The Battlefield will have a unique style this time as we have Trainer & Battler tag team matches where the Trainer calls out the attacks and the Battler must perform the attacks. (Pretty much how Pokemon is.) Our popular event from last year, Dagorhir, will be making it’s return with more battles and more weapons.
