More info:
The mission of the Chicago Japan Festival is to introduce Japanese culture to local residents in order to improve and promote unity among the various cultures that comprise our community. More than 6,000 people visit the Japan Festival each year, enjoying Japanese dance, music, Taiko drums, tea ceremony demonstrations, martial arts and more, as well as shopping at the Marketplace and tasting Japanese cuisine at the Food Court. Kids will love playing with traditional Japanese toys and games at the Kids’ Corner. These events are coordinated by the Chicago Japanese Club and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Chicago in partnership with the Consulate General of Japan at Chicago.
Other events that are planned are anime screenings, cosplay events, and much more!
