Jiro Dreams of Sushi

Come and experience the film, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, playing at the Gene Siskel Film Center from May 25 through 31. From his humble beginnings in a tiny sushi restaurant in a subway station, to being acclaimed as one of the greatest sushi chefs in the world, Jiro Dreams of Sushi is the story of 85 year-old sushi chef, Jiro Ono and is called by chef, author, and television personality Anthony Bourdain “A thrilling and beautiful portrait of family and the most thorough, concise and maddeningly delicious looking explanation of the all too frequently misunderstood world of sushi.”
