Ginza Holiday Festival is a summer event featuring Japanese food, culture and entertainment. The members of the Midwest Buddhist Temple, located in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood, started the festival over 60 years ago as a way to share their cultural heritage. Ginza visitors will enjoy delicious food including our famous Chicken Teriyaki and experience performances of cultural arts such as Japanese Folk dance as well as Taiko drumming. On Saturday evening come and enjoy live Jazz with an Asian flair. A truly special feature of Ginza is the Waza, an organization of Japanese artisans who have mastered traditional crafts handed down through generations dating back to Japan’s Edo period.

Learn more about Ginza and mark your calendars for August 12, 13 & 14 for our 2016 edition of the Ginza Holiday Festival!
