Wings of Fantasy is a networking event hosted by JAVCA and the Japanese American Service Committee to allow individuals to connect to other Chicagoans interested in Japanese culture. It is an opportunity for participants to freely wear their desired costumes/cosplays in a fun and engaging setting outside of conventions. It is a dance with bountiful food, great DJs, prizes, and photography.

This event is held in collaboration with the Japanese American Service Committee in order to bring together people with an interest in Japanese culture. Cosplay is encouraged but please be appropriately dressed for the public. Also, no real weapons or excessively large weapons.

Food and drink are provided with the ticket price. We have two awesome DJs lined up. There will be a costume contest that everyone is free to enter and a photo booth to take pictures in your costume. We will also have two raffle baskets which you can buy tickets for at the event. One is CLAMP themed and one is Hello Kitty themed. Raffle ticket prices are $2 for a ticket OR $5 for 3 tickets, so please bring some extra money if you are interested.

All paid members of JAVCA will receive a unique coupon code in their email, which will provide you with a special discount. Keep in mind that if you share your code, you won’t be able to use it any longer.

If you would like to use a method of payment other than PayPal or credit card to purchase your ticket, please contact us

Cash payments are accepted in person, as long as you contact, and pay, an executive member.
