This particular event is actually a melding of both German AND Japanese culture (brought to you by the Chicago Japanese American Historical Society) featuring food tastings, cultural enrichment, and a mochi demonstration (this is actually a highlight listed not me trying to lure you in XP)!
Wings of Fantasy is a networking event hosted by JAVCA and the Japanese American Service Committee to allow individuals to connect to other Chicagoans interested in Japanese culture. It is an opportunity for participants to freely wear their desired costumes/cosplays in a fun and engaging setting outside of conventions. It is a dance with bountiful food, great DJs, prizes, and photography.
