SoyCon 4

What is SoyCon?
SoyCon is a large cosplay gathering dedicated to the fandom of cosplay, anime, manga, video game, fantasy, and more. This 2-day event strives for its attendees to get out, socialize, and most importantly, have fun. SoyCon began as a small cosplay gathering, previously named as the ACen Aftermathphotoshoot, originally ran by the Chicagoland Cosplay Club in 2006. In 2007, Soy Sauce decided to step-up and repeat the event again.

The year of 2008, Soy began an annual traditional gathering, now renamed as “SoyCon”. For 3 years straight, SoyCon has provided events for the attendees to watch and participate. Events such as SoyCon Idol, Talent Show, Group Photoshoot, and The Battlefield brings forth good memories thatwill last a lifetime.

Today, numerous attendees around the Chicagoland area, and some coming out of state, attend this glorious social event. Whenever you’re a cosplayer, an anime fan, a manga reader, or something in between, it lets us be part of something that we’ll enjoy for a very long time.
